Reactions on social media to the devastating defeat of the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars went into their Monday night matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3 knowing it was going to be a tough game. They also knew it was imperative not to fall to 0-3, especially with the Houston Texans next week.

The Jaguars, who had spent a week playing a supposedly faster offense and focusing on improved communication, were embarrassed by the Bills. The Bills scored on every single drive in the first half. The Jaguars were stunned in every way.

The halftime score was 34-3. The final score wasn't much better, a resounding 47-10 victory for the Bills.

There was, of course, criticism of the loss on social media, but the hatred started before the game even started.

After the Bills took a 13-0 lead, the comments got even uglier.

Then Allen joined forces with star rookie Keon Coleman. Dissatisfaction grew so much that speculation about the future began.

From Allen to Shakir

At halftime, jobs were advertised.

Our John Shipley highlighted all the problems at half-time.

“The Jaguars have had a problem with getting off to a fast start for years, but in Week 1 the team seemed to turn things around. They went out and punched the Miami Dolphins in the face to take a 17-7 lead,” Shipley wrote. “Last week the Jaguars let up and punted on their first drive before allowing the Cleveland Browns to march down the field for a long touchdown drive. On the next drive the Jaguars went three out. … Slow starts will continue to be this team's undoing until they find a solution.

“The Jaguars just looked like the offense was claustrophobic. While the Bills easily played free receivers, gained yards after the catch, and Josh Allen made one big play after another, the Jaguars failed to do any of that. But the blame lies not only with the play and coaching. Mistakes like dropped passes and slips while running after the catch occurred, and Trevor Lawrence threw one of the worst interceptions of his career when he missed a free Brian Thomas Jr. while trailing 20-3.”

After halftime, the Jaguars' touchdown drive, which ended with a pass from Lawrence to Brenton Strange, received little positive.

This loss was as bad as it gets. The Jaguars are now 0-3 on the season.
