Ishita Dutta Sheth returns to work after two-year break, says, ‘A mother will always suffer from separation anxiety’ 2: Bollywood News

Actress Ishita Dutta Sheth, who welcomed her first child, son Vayu, with husband and actor Vatsal Sheth in June last year, is returning to work after a two-year absence. Although she is excited about her comeback, Ishita admits it was a difficult decision. She said, “The decision to go back to work was very tough. I thought I would come back after six months, but when it came time to say yes to any project, I was hesitant. But my parents, in-laws and husband all said, 'We are here to take care of Vayu.' Vatsal and I are arranging our schedules around him.”

She continued: “Every working woman goes through this guilt. The first day you have to leave your child and go to work is always going to be hard, whether it's six months or two years. A mother will always have this separation anxiety; I had it too, but I managed it.”

She told Hindustan Times, “Despite the 'mommy guilt', the actress is relieved to be back in business.” She revealed that she is currently shooting for a film. “Though I am really enjoying my shoot, I am constantly checking what Vayu is doing on the baby monitor. This is the first time I have been away from him for such a long time,” she said.

Ishita added that she plans to bring Vayu to the shooting location soon. “We are bringing him here. We will see how it goes. Then, if he settles down, he will stay with me till the end of the schedule. I want to start working properly, but I will give myself a month or two between projects to spend time with him,” the actor said.
