TOMS RIVER, NJ — A bomb threat led to the partial evacuation of Community Medical Center in Toms River Monday evening, authorities confirmed.

The New Jersey State Police Bomb Disposal Squad determined that a suspected explosive device was a fake, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.

The bomb threat occurred in the emergency room, and several patients were evacuated, according to multiple reports.
