He has to return to his ship for the next four months. “She will wait for him,” says Lizzy as she leaves. Jakob is happy when he can return home. The couple love each other. Passionately. But then they meet Lizzy's friends in a restaurant – a foreign world for Jakob, who reacts jealously. He even hires a private detective to follow Lizzy, who confirms that she is completely faithful to him. But jealousy consumes Jacob. He jumps off a bridge and is rescued. A cold knocks him down for weeks, and who looks after him? Lizzy. After his recovery, Jakob travelled to the Netherlands to take over a new ship.
