“ZDF-Fernsehgarten” completely crazy: Andrea Kiewel surprised fans with “strange fetish party”

The current show on ZDF-Fernsehgarten was supposed to be incredibly sweet and magical. What followed, however, was a show that was more like a fever dream. The stars of the show were already known in advance. They included:

They arrive in animal costumes and are immediately taken under the wing of presenter Andrea Kiewel. While “the polar bear” and “the chicken” present themselves openly to the camera, the fireman dressed as a donkey is a little hesitant. She first says “moin” and steals the show from the ZDF's joke reporter and veteran Andrea Kiewel. The organic farmer from Uckermark has 320 dairy cows under her wing – and today Lutz van der Horst too. “There's shit under the cows – and now you have to scratch it,” the farmer's wife gives instructions. “Schnuppi, you were afraid of milking a cow,” asks Kiwi in astonishment. “I never thought I could do it,” says the farmer in training sheepishly.

But what is the animal fire brigade actually doing? They are encouraged to do a little animal polonaise through the studio. It's not just the group of men who seem to be a bit over the top. Presenter Andrea Kiewel herself is too, as Lutz van der Horst aptly commented. “Security, get the woman out of here. She's completely over the top,” the presenter complains jokingly to the audience.

Animal motto at Fernsehgarten becomes a humor trap

The highlight of the show is the big animal race at the end of the show. Ten participants from the audience have to complete a course dressed as animals. While Kiwi cheered on a volunteer at the beginning of the show with “Yes, you're the rhinoceros”, it became increasingly difficult to find volunteers as the show went on. But why? The hare was the last participant to reach the finish line – the story of the hare and the hedgehog repeats itself here too.
