Utica police investigate cause of stabbing death

Utica Police are investigating a stabbing death on Saturday, September 21, and are asking for the public's help.

According to UPD, emergency crews were dispatched to the 300 block of Lansing Street for a stabbing.

Upon arrival, authorities found a male victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was immediately transported to Wynn Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The identity of the victim was not disclosed.

Forensics is currently on site reviewing evidence; the case has been assigned to the Major Crimes Unit.
