World star guest: Singer Sting will perform in Hanover in 2025

Next year, fans will once again have the opportunity to see the former “The Police” frontman live in the capital of Lower Saxony. Further concerts in Germany have been announced.

Hanover (dpa/lni) – To kick off his German tour, British musician Sting will perform in Hanover on June 6, 2025. He is the headliner at the NDR 2 Plaza Festival. Concerts are also planned in Heilbronn, Mönchengladbach, Rostock, Zwickau and Kiel in June, the concert organizer announced.

During the “Sting 3.0” tour, the multiple Grammy award winner will present his greatest hits from more than 40 years of music career and will also play 80s hits such as “Fields of Gold” and “Englishman in New York”.

Sting started his international career with his band The Police and songs like “Every Breath You Take”. The 72-year-old has been a guest in Hanover several times.

Festival on the former site of the World Exhibition

The Finn Samu Haber will also be performing at the 25th anniversary edition of the NDR 2 Festival at the Expo Plaza – the organizers recently announced this. Advance tickets are already being sold.

The two-day festival is held every year in Hanover under the open sky on the former site of the World Exhibition.
