2 dead in shooting outside gas station in West Valley

PHOENIX – Two people were killed in a shooting outside a West Valley gas station Monday morning, authorities said.

Surprise police said there are no outstanding suspects in this case and there is no active threat to the public.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of ​​Bell Road and Loop 303 around 5 a.m.

They found two people with gunshot wounds near a vehicle. Both people were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

According to ABC15, the crime scene is outside the QuikTrip on the south side of Bell Road, just west of Loop 303.

Detectives are expected to be in the area for several hours to investigate the case, but there are no traffic restrictions, police said.
