*PITTSBURGH, PA — Allegheny County detectives have identified the driver in a recent fatal crash as 25-year-old Saul Rivera-Ramirez.

Rivera-Ramirez was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with several misdemeanors, including vehicular manslaughter, causing death or personal injury without a proper license, and operating a vehicle without a license.

He was subsequently taken to the Allegheny County Jail to await preliminary arraignment.

Details of the incident, including time and location, were not disclosed by authorities.

  • Elderly man reported missing in Manchester Township

    MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – Manchester Township Police are asking for assistance in locating 82-year-old Clifford B. Reid, who was last seen in the area of ​​Township Line Road in Whiting around 5 p.m. Sunday. Reid was reportedly wearing blue jeans, moccasin shoes and a red or green sweatshirt at the time of his disappearance. Authorities believe Reid left the area in a silver 2007 Toyota Corolla with New Jersey license plate E68CZE.

    Investigators have so far failed to determine Reid's whereabouts. The case does not meet the criteria for issuing a Silver Alert under New Jersey State Police policy.

    Anyone with information on Reid's whereabouts is asked to contact the Manchester Township Police Department at 732-657-6111.

  • Man shot in Queens; suspect at large

    QUEENS, NY — A 31-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning near Merrick Boulevard and 126th Avenue in Queens, police said.

    Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 6:16 a.m. at the NYPD's 113th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers learned that the man had been shot in the chest and leg by an unknown suspect who fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.

    The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

    As of Sunday, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
