A teenager was stabbed to death in southeast London.

Police were called to a disturbance on Eglinton Road in Woolwich shortly after 6.30pm on Sunday.

The boy, who was found with stab wounds, died at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed and a crime scene is still at the scene.

No arrests have been made so far, and police are still searching for the stabber.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Eglinton Road, SE18, at around 6.35pm on Sunday 22 September.”

“Officers arrived and found a teenager with a stab wound. Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics on scene, he unfortunately died a short time later.

“His next of kin have been informed. A crime scene still exists.”

“No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.”
