For viewers in the UK, spoilers for “Home and Away” follow.

Felicity Newman's tragic final scenes will be shown in Home and Away in the UK next week.

The popular character loses her life after suffering a sudden health shock during a happy celebration in Salt.

This Friday's episode on Channel 5 (September 27) ends on a disturbing cliffhanger as Felicity collapses during the surprise engagement party she has organised for her brother Cash and best friend Eden Fowler.

When Felicity is admitted to the hospital, she undergoes emergency surgery because doctors diagnose a life-threatening brain aneurysm.

After Felicity is discharged from surgery, her relatives have to wait in the hospital.

Cash, Eden and Tane Parata pay him a visit, desperately hoping for the best, but events take a disturbing turn when the monitors start beeping and a team of doctors rushes in.

Bree Cameron later informs Cash and Eden that Felicity has suffered a second hemorrhage that cannot be repaired surgically.

In one of the most difficult moments of her professional life, Bree tells her patient that the second hemorrhage may have led to brain death.

Bree and Levi Fowler work together to perform a series of careful neurological examinations, which ultimately confirm this diagnosis as Felicity shows no response.

When it becomes clear that Felicity will never wake up again, Bree is faced with the grim task of talking to Cash about turning off the life support machines.

These scenes, which aired in Australia last month, mark the end of Jacqui Purvis' three-year run as Felicity.

Jacqui has confirmed that her decision to leave Home and Away was because she wanted to explore other acting opportunities.
