UAE: Child harassed during filming; Media Council launches investigation – News

The UAE Media Council said it was investigating a bullying incident involving a girl during the filming of a children's program broadcast on one of its platforms.

The authority said in a statement on Sunday that it would not allow the display of “any content that violates the media content standards set out in the Media Regulation Act or the country's child protection laws.”

The council said it was in contact with the girl's family to find out more about the incident and was launching an investigation.
