40:29 home win: Coach Schild attests his team “a very good performance”

22.09.24 – The home premiere was a success: One week after the as yet unrated game at HSG Baunatal, the handball players of HSG Großenlüder/Hainzell showed what they were capable of. In the Lüdertal sports hall, they clearly defeated TSV Ost-/Mosheim with 40:29. The hosts were already leading 21:14 at halftime in the high-scoring game.

40 goals – a magical mark in handball – is not scored every day. Großenlüder/Hainzell offered a strong team performance – even though Fabian Kirsch scored twelve goals alone.

Adrian Schild commented on what was shown: “That was a very good game from us. We defended offensively – and that was very good. We won the ball a lot, which we used to score easy goals.” He particularly praised the many young players who had put in a lot of effort. The coach liked “their decision-making in attack. We can build on that,” he added.

He left quicker than he had originally planned: Benedikt Dimmerling. “Since Robin Weinbörner was out, we only had one pivot in Simon Münker. That's why Benedikt helped us,” explained the coach. Also worth mentioning: Moritz Biener's good goalkeeping performance.

Next Saturday the HSG will travel to HSG Hofgeismar/Grebenstein. (Week)
