The Denver Broncos' road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers begins at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, but quarterback Bo Nix and the AFC West team will bring the sunset to the afternoon showdown.

Denver has unveiled its Sunset Orange uniforms, which will make their debut at Raymond James Stadium during their Week 3 clash:

“The Broncos are wearing orange away because the Bucs have decided to wear their white jerseys for the Sept. 22 showdown, forcing Denver to wear its 'home jersey' in the Florida heat (the Broncos tried a similar strategy against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week without much success),” said Jon Heath of USA Today's Broncos Wire explains.

Denver fans will have their first opportunity to see the jerseys at home when the team faces division rival Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6.

The team is obviously hoping that the new look will inspire better performances, as they are 0-2 after losses to the Seattle Seahawks and Steelers in the first two weeks of the season.

Part of the problem was Nix's difficulty adjusting to the NFL game. The rookie threw for 138 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions in a 20-26 loss to the Seahawks and then threw for 246 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions in a Week 2 loss to the Steelers.

Nix threw the ball a total of 77 times in those matchups, so the Broncos may try to establish the running game against Tampa Bay and take some of the pressure off the rookie playmaker.

The Buccaneers are off to an impressive 2-0 start with wins over the Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions. Baker Mayfield threw five touchdowns in those games and shined in his role as franchise quarterback earlier this season.
