After the arrest of the choreographer of “Stree 2”, will his wife be arrested next?

Following Jani Masters' arrest, reports claimed that he confessed to the crime and pleaded guilty. He is now in judicial custody and is being charged under the POCSO Act. Reports say that his wife Ayesha may soon be arrested in connection with the case.

The victim accused both Jani Master and his wife of assaulting her. She also claimed that they pressured her to marry Jani Master after forcing her to change her religion.

According to Telugu 360, Ayesha may soon be charged for her involvement. Recently, she defended her husband in the media, insisting that he was innocent and incapable of such an offence.

In an interview with TV9, Ayesha stated, “The claim that the girl was sexually harassed when she was 16 is false. If she has proof, I will leave Master.” She suspected that powerful people might be conspiring against her husband, pointing out that they have been married for 14 years and have no children. Ayesha stressed that she knows Jani Master well and that he is not the person described in the allegations.

Ayesha also spoke about the victim and said that she was once grateful to Jani Master for her career. She asked why the victim did not come forward earlier and only decided to file a complaint after more than a year of independence. Ayesha said, “In many interviews, the victim said she owes her career to Master and is grateful to him. Why did she not raise this issue earlier? And why has she come forward now after a year?”

However, the allegations against Jani Master and his wife are quite serious. The police have also summoned Ayesha to Narsingi police station.

For context: Jani Master is accused of sexually harassing a 21-year-old colleague who was allegedly a minor when the abuse began. The victim claims the choreographer harassed her on multiple occasions.
