Mariah Carey poses with twins in Brazil between performances: “So grateful”

Mariah Carey shared a sweet family photo of one of Brazil's most famous landmarks.

The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer posted a photo on Saturday evening with her twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom she has with ex-husband Nick Cannon, as well as a solo photo in which she posed in front of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.

Carey shared the two smiling photos and wrote that she was “grateful” for the visit. Last month, Carey announced the tragic news that both her mother and sister had died on the same day.

“So grateful to finally be able to visit Cristo Redentor here in Rio with Roc and Roe! What a moment ❤️🇧🇷,” Carey wrote in the caption.

The photos were taken after Carey announced that she was going back to work.

On August 26, Carey announced the news of the deaths of her mother and sister.

“I am heartbroken to have lost my mother this past weekend. Unfortunately, in a tragic turn of events, my sister also lost her life that same day,” Carey said in a statement to ABC News.

In early August, Carey announced her upcoming 2024 tour, Mariah Carey's Christmas Time. The 20-city Christmas tour is scheduled to begin on November 6 and end on December 17.
