New satellite images emerge of Russian ammunition depots attacked by Ukrainian drones

New high-resolution satellite images show the consequences of Ukrainian attacks on several depots where Russia stored ammunition for the war.

The images were originally posted by Radio Liberty, Ukrinform reports.

Photos of the ammunition depot near Tikhoretsk in the Krasnodar region, taken on September 20 and 21 – before and after the attacks – show smoke above the site.

According to local authorities, the emergency team was on the scene on Sunday, September 22, while residents claimed they found projectile fragments 10 kilometers outside the city. Anatoly Prilepin, head of the Tychoretsk district, announced a ban on all agricultural work “until a full survey of the areas is completed.”

Other images show the aftermath of the Ukrainian drone attack on the 23rd Arsenal of the Main Directorate of Rocket Artillery in the village of Oktyabrskyi in the Tver region.

In the northern part of the arsenal, more than half of the ammunition depots appear to have been destroyed, while the southern part remains almost intact.

Previously, Ukrainian drones had attacked the 107th Arsenal in Toropka, not far from this place.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on the night of September 21, Ukrainian drones attacked Russian military arsenals in the Krasnodar Territory and Tver Region.

According to the General Staff, at the time of the attack, a train carrying at least 2,000 tons of ammunition had arrived at the site of the attack, including ammunition supplied from North Korea.
