During a performance by Circus Krone in Burghausen, Bavaria on Saturday evening, acrobat Amalia Avanesian slipped and fell six meters. A rescue helicopter flew her to the hospital. The police are asking witnesses who filmed the incident to come forward.

The artist was performing a free-floating trick with her 48-year-old partner when it happened. According to the circus, the acrobatic duo was hanging from what are known as straps, which are usually attached to the ceiling. In front of the circus guests, the 29-year-old suddenly fell into the depths, according to the police.
