IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that about 100 rockets were fired from Lebanon at northern Israel on Saturday.

Amidst the fighting Benjamin Netanyahu held consultations with ministers and senior defense officials on security issues on Saturday evening.

Hagari said there could be further changes to the guidelines depending on developments and warned that rockets could be fired at Israel in the next few hours.

“If there are any further changes overnight or tomorrow, we will inform you immediately. It is possible that rockets and other threats will be fired at Israel in the next few hours. We ask you to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command,” he said.

Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar said the country's military was on high alert.

The Israel Defense Forces also reported that after sirens sounded in the Jezreel Valley area, about ten missiles were spotted flying into Israeli territory from Lebanon. Most of the missiles were intercepted, and one projectile was also found landing in the area. The incident is currently under investigation.
