Altötting – A tragic incident overshadowed a circus show in Upper Bavaria when an acrobat fell from a height of about six meters during her performance.

In Burghausen, Altötting district, an acrobat was critically injured during her circus performance after falling from a height of around six meters. According to police, the 29-year-old was attempting to perform a free-floating trick with her 48-year-old partner. However, she slipped in front of the audience and fell into the depths.

After the fall, the 29-year-old was treated by emergency doctors and then transported to a hospital by rescue helicopter. The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear and are currently being investigated. Witnesses who recorded the incident on video are urged to contact the police.
