Megyn Kelly criticizes Justin Bieber and his friends for their silence on Diddy's arrest: “If he was a victim, then God forbid…”

Megyn Kelly is criticizing celebrities like Justin Bieber, Usher, Ashton Kutcher and others who were once close to disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs for their silence following his arrest. Combs was taken into custody on Monday on serious charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Kelly questioned why Combs' close friends had not addressed the allegations publicly. She mentioned Bieber in particular, citing his close relationship with Combs at a young age and suggesting that he should speak out even if he is a victim of the alleged crimes.

Megyn Kelly calls on Diddy's “friends” to speak out

Since November of last year, the sensational revelations of Diddy's twisted secrets have led to numerous lawsuits and even an FBI raid on his Los Angeles and Miami mansions. This week, the Bad Boy Records producer was finally arrested and is currently in a Brooklyn jail.

The music mogul maintained close friendships with many high-profile musicians and pop stars, including Justin Bieber, who first came into contact with Diddy at the age of 15, and Usher, who met him when he was 13 or 14 and admitted to learning “a totally different kind of shit – sex, to be precise” from Diddy.

“Justin Bieber… they're not mentioning his name in all this, but Justin was very young when he got into Diddy's circle,” Megyn Kelly recalled. “There's no doubt about it, he had a lot of contact with this guy, and I think he should say something.”

Several old videos have resurfaced, particularly those showing Bieber's interactions with Diddy, sparking speculation among fans that Bieber may have been one of Diddy's victims. Many believe this may explain Bieber's apparent distancing from the rapper in recent years.

Megyn encourages Bieber to speak his mind even if “he was a victim”

Kelly was aware that Bieber could be in a difficult position if he was a victim of Diddy's difficult past. “It's very hard to go public and say that happened to you, but if he was a victim, God forbid, I encourage him to talk about it,” she said. “It takes someone strong enough to break through the dam.”

The talk show host believes that if well-known personalities like Usher, Justin Bieber or Ashton Kutcher spoke openly about what they know about Sean Combs and his whereabouts, they would show leadership. “If an actual Usher, a Bieber or someone like Ashton Kutcher – I don't think he was a victim of abuse, but he was a good friend of Diddy's for a long time – came out and said what they know, that would show leadership.”

“And it would give the others on that list the permission and the security of not being the only ones who have to fear retaliation,” she added.

Justin Bieber ‘disturbed’ after Diddy’s arrest

Although fans claim Bieber began distancing himself from Diddy at a young age, the pop star collaborated with Combs on the song “Moment” from the 2023 album “The Love Album: Off the Grid.” However, he has not been seen in public with Diddy since then. Now a source told the Daily Mail: “Bieber is so disturbed by the news about Diddy and is not ready to process it or talk about it, so he has closed himself off.” They added: “Justin has not responded since the house searches. Nor will he.”

The insider also mentioned that Bieber “regrets” working with Diddy, explaining that he would never have worked with the disgraced mogul if he had known about the allegations at the time.

Sean Combs, on the other hand, is awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He was recently placed on suicide watch, a “supervision measure for inmates at risk of self-harm that requires frequent observation,” after his bail request was denied twice. He is reportedly worried about his seven children.
