Luxury ceramic watch knows over 800 golf courses in Germany

Huawei has introduced the Watch GT 5 Pro, a new smartwatch that is designed to give the Galaxy Watch 7 and Apple Watch Series 10 a run for their money. The watch is designed to last up to 14 days on one charge and is available with both a ceramic and a titanium case.

Just a few days ago, Huawei launched the world's first tri-fold in China with the Mate XT. Now new smartwatches that belong to the premium segment are following suit. The Huawei Watch GT5 Pro starts as a ceramic version in 42 millimeters for 449 euros, with the version with a ceramic strap costing 599 euros. Huawei also offers the watch as a 46 millimeter version with a titanium case and titanium strap for 499 euros. With a fluoroelastomer strap, the price is 379 euros.

Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro with ECG analysis & golf mode

The heart of the watch is either a 1.32 (42 mm) or a 1.43 inch (46 mm) AMOLED display, on which the time, various fitness data and apps can be displayed. According to Huawei, the GT 5 Pro has a heart rate sensor, ECG analysis, SpO2 monitoring and sleep monitoring. In addition, there is observation of sleep breathing, stress level and cycle tracking.

The watch is rounded off by a variety of sports modes. These include a professional golf mode, which includes detailed information on over 800 German golf courses. The mode also enables real-time monitoring of swing data. Huawei states that the battery life is up to 14 days, which would make the watch a real long-distance runner. The GT 5 Pro is rounded off by NFC support, Bluetooth 5.2, a loudspeaker and microphone for making phone calls, as well as water resistance according to IP69K and up to 5 ATM.
