Dartmouth man charged with murder in fatal stabbing in New Bedford – Boston News, Weather, Sports

NEW BEDFORD, MASS. (WHDH) – A 31-year-old Dartmouth man faces murder charges in connection with a fatal stabbing in New Bedford on Friday, authorities said.

Tyler Dow Baglini was arrested shortly after the Atlantic Street stabbing and taken to Saint Luke's Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, the Bristol District Attorney's Office said. He will be arraigned Monday in New Bedford District Court.

When police officers responded to a reported stabbing in the area of ​​86 Atlantic St., they found 31-year-old Kerri Fidalgo suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to Saint Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, where she was later pronounced dead.
