Eureka Police seek suspect in connection with stabbing at Del Norte Pier this morning | Lost Coast Outpost

Eureka Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred this morning at the Del Norte Pier. The suspect is still at large.

When we sought further information this afternoon, EPD spokeswoman Laura Montagna told the outpost that there was a “violent altercation” on the pier shortly before 11 a.m. “Investigators are still working at the scene,” she said. “There was physical violence with an object, but it was not a knife.”

Montagna could not provide any information on the victim's condition and only confirmed that he was taken to the hospital.
