Toddler hit by car in Odenville; transported by medical personnel

A three-year-old was hit by a car in Odenville.

According to Odenville Police, at approximately 6:17 p.m., Odenville Police responded to reports of a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 411.

When officers arrived, they found a toddler who had been hit by a car.

The Odenville Regional Emergency Services and Fire Department provided medical care to the child on site.

The toddler was taken to the children's hospital by medical staff.

The driver responsible for the incident was on scene when Odenville authorities arrived.

There is currently no information available about the infant’s current health status.

The Odenville Police Department is investigating this incident.
