News from Noida: In a shocking incident, a girl riding a scooter landed on the pillar of a flyover in the Indian state of Noida on Saturday after she was hit by an unidentified vehicle. The accident occurred near Sector 25, which comes under the jurisdiction of Sector 20 police station.

After the incident, two men were seen trying to rescue her. The girl was rescued along with the two men who had tried to rescue her and all three were taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Commenting on the incident, ADCP Manish Kumar Mishra said that after receiving the information, police reached the spot of the accident and the girl was safely rescued by police and fire rescue teams.

“A girl was travelling from Noida to Ghaziabad; her scooter met with an accident and she landed on the base of a flyover pillar. Police immediately reached the spot after receiving the information. The rescue team comprising police and fire department arrived and the girl was rescued safely. She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Two men who were at the spot for rescue were also brought down and taken to the hospital… According to the information, it was a WagonR (that hit the girl's scooter). It has been seized by the police. We will ask the girl some questions about the incident and take further action,” the police official said.

One of the two men who tried to rescue the girl told ANI, “We saw the girl falling and came to her aid. The police rescued us; they called an ambulance.”
