One man dead, another in custody after fatal early morning shooting in North Fargo – InForum

FARGO – Fargo police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning, Sept. 21, around 1:15 a.m. outside a residence in the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue N.

According to a police press release sent at 2:13 a.m., officers were dispatched to the scene where they found an adult male victim who had been shot.

The suspected shooter, identified as Tyreik Taylor-Roberts, who lives at that address, was arrested without incident. A weapon believed to have been used in the shooting was recovered at the scene.

According to police, Roberts admitted to being the shooter.

According to the press release, the circumstances of the incident are still unclear according to police. The FPD has secured the area and is actively investigating the incident. No further information is currently available.

Police are asking the public to be patient while officers attempt to gather the facts.
