Bad quotes seal the temporary end of the 'Superduper Show'

Unterfoehring – The “Superduper Show” with the Kaulitz brothers (both 35) and Katrin Bauerfeind (42) only made it onto the screens for one evening: Due to bad quotes, ProSieben is now pulling the ripcord and throwing the show out of the program.

Three more episodes were planned, but with just a 5.7 percent market share among 14- to 49-year-olds, the show failed to shine last Tuesday.

ProSieben confirmed to the media magazine DWDL that it would remove the upcoming shows from its schedule – but not forever.

“Unfortunately, the 'Superduper Show' did not find its audience on Tuesday evening. […] “However, we still believe in the show's potential and will bring it back to a time slot in 2025 that will make it easier for families to watch the show,” said ProSieben spokesman Christoph Körfer.

The show, in which children come up with their own ideas for a television format and celebrity guests are then supposed to implement these ideas together with the children, was broadcast at prime time at 8:15 p.m.

Instead of the “Superduper Show”, ProSieben will show various feature films in prime time on the next three Tuesdays, but which ones exactly are still unclear.

For presenter Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) and his “Late Night Berlin”, the allocation of the broadcast slot is also not entirely unimportant.

After the ratings flop of the “Superduper Show”, the Late Night, which aired directly afterwards, achieved just 4.3 percent market share when it returned from the summer break.
