Princess Eugenie is touched when she sees Sarah Ferguson's tearful message

Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, appeared sad as she marked the 26th anniversary of the death of her mother Susan on Thursday.

The Duchess of York shared several stunning photos of her mother on Instagram to pay her a special tribute.

In one of the pictures, Ferguson seemed to show her love for the royal family as she appeared on the iconic balcony of Buckingham Palace with her beloved people.

The photo shows Susan with Sarah on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on the day of her wedding to Prince Andrew in 1986.

Other photos show portraits of the late star, including a beautiful black and white photo and another in which Susan looks like a Hollywood starlet in a red dress. The touching post sparked a reaction from Fergie's younger daughter Eugenie.

The mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie wrote alongside the photos: “My beloved mother Susie died 26 years ago today. She was far too young to be taken from us and I often think that at just 61, she was younger than I am today when she died in a horrific accident.”

“I constantly think of her zest for life and her bright spirit. Like all of us, she made mistakes, but she taught me to appreciate every single day and to always try to treat people with kindness. I miss her very much.”

Princess Eugenie was touched when she saw her mother Ferguson's tearful message and shared the post on her Instagram stories with the comment: “Miss beautiful Granny Susie.”

Susan was 61 when she died in a car accident in the countryside. Susan was traveling with her nephew Raphael at the time, who survived the accident with minor injuries.
