Israeli attack destroys two residential buildings in Beirut, rescue operations underway — TV – World

CAIRO, September 20. /TASS/. Two residential buildings were recently destroyed in an Israeli airstrike on a suburb of the Lebanese capital, the Al-Qahira Al-Ekhbariya television channel reported.

According to Beirut Civil Defense, “rescue teams went to the site of the rocket attack, where explosions destroyed two residential buildings.”

Rescue workers began searching for people who might be under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

Earlier, Lebanon's acting Health Minister Firas Abiad said an Israeli air force attack on the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Dahiya had killed at least three people and injured 17 others. He did not rule out that the death toll could rise, as several people had been admitted to hospitals in extremely serious condition.
