Can you help us identify the man in connection with the sexual abuse investigation?

Detectives investigating a sexual assault case in Bristol are hoping the public can help with their investigation.

A man sexually assaulted a woman by touching her at a supermarket on Abbotsford Road in Cotham. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30am on Sunday 16 April 2023.

The following surveillance footage shows a man who we hope to be able to use the public's help in identifying as part of our investigation.

He is described as male, Asian, approximately 5'4″ tall, in his 30s or 40s, with a slim build. He has short dark hair, facial hair and is wearing a dark jacket.

Since this sexual assault, numerous investigative techniques have been used, but we have now reached a point where we need the public's assistance in further investigating this matter.
