Woman arrested after hit-and-run accident in Paris

PARIS, Texas (KXII) – A Paris woman was arrested Wednesday following an alleged hit-and-run crash.

According to police, the incident occurred at the corner of 30th North East Street and Houston Street.

Paris police said the driver of the vehicle struck was treated for some injuries and that they found the other car abandoned in the 3700 block of Lamar Avenue.

Officers found 25-year-old Serenity Sanders at a nearby business in the area of ​​3600 Lamar Avenue. After her arrest, she told officers that she committed the hit-and-run.

Sanders was charged with leaving the scene of an accident without permission and causing personal injury, a felony.
