Ronaldo joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 as the world's most expensive player, one summer after winning the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or for the first time.

There he developed into an undisputed all-time star and became the most successful goalscorer in the history of arguably the greatest sports team in the world.

During his years as a dominant player in LaLiga, he also met Rodriguez, with whom he now has five children.

The couple met in Madrid in 2016 and moved to Turin when Ronaldo moved to Juventus in 2018. From there they spent a short time in England at Manchester United and now live in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo reportedly became the highest-paid athlete of all time when he joined Al Nassr in 2023. He is also credited with sparking the influx of new players into the Saudi Pro League.

With this wealth, he bought a huge villa in the capital Riyadh, which has its own gym and football pitch.

Ronaldo revealed these details in a recent interview with WHOOP, where he gave the world an insight into his health-conscious diet and routine that keeps him in top shape even at the age of 39.

Interestingly, the Madeira-born megastar revealed the importance of water in his diet and that his most important tip for the gym is consistency: “The most important thing is not what you do, but that you do it. [it].”

The clip was created in the wake of Ronaldo's newfound fame on YouTube, which saw him break numerous records by opening his own channel.

And on this channel he gave an insight into his possible life after his football career.

During a game of Mr. & Mrs., he and Rodriguez were asked where the other would like to end his career. The former said Madrid and the latter said Saudi Arabia/Portugal.

Ronaldo's choice of Madrid is no surprise considering the Argentine model and businesswoman moved to Spain when she was one year old.

Ronaldo might also be tempted to return to the city that has been his home for most of his life, but that might mean sacrificing his incredible mansion.

His return to club football came when Al Nassr secured a late 1-1 draw with Ivan Toney's Al Ahli.

Ronaldo finally reached the 900 career goals mark during the international break and was celebrated by the club's fans.

They held a large tifo to pay their last respects to the legendary striker.
