Man dies after accident with gardening equipment in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – Police say a worker died Thursday morning while operating machinery in a Franklin neighborhood.

A 37-year-old man was killed shortly after 9:40 a.m. in the Stream Valley neighborhood

According to police, the victim sustained his fatal injuries while using gardening tools.

“The circumstances appear to be coincidental. The victim's identity is being kept confidential until next of kin are notified,” the FPD said.

The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA) has been notified of this incident.
