Five people arrested as part of murder investigation after fatal stabbing in Teesside | UK news

Five people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Teesside, Cleveland Police said.

The 26-year-old man died around midnight on Thursday in Hills Drive in Stockton-on-Tees.

Police said no formal identification had been made yet, but the victim's family was being assisted by specially trained officers.

As part of the murder investigation, five people were questioned by detectives; all three remain in custody.

Cleveland police said the investigation is ongoing and officers have asked witnesses and anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
