Police ask for help after rape of teenager and sexual abuse of woman on beach

Police investigating the rape of a teenager and the sexual abuse of a woman on a beach have released images of three men they want to speak to.

The attacks occurred on September 8 at around 6 a.m. on Brighton beach, in an area between the two piers, Sussex Police said.

The two females know each other, added the force.

The police believe that the three men could help them with their investigations.

Detective Sergeant Paul Heal said: “The two victims are being cared for by specially trained officers as our thorough investigation continues.

“We are conducting multiple investigations to clarify the circumstances surrounding these incidents and ensure that those responsible are identified and held accountable for their actions.

“Patrols along Brighton seafront have been increased and we are working with our partner agencies to support this increased presence.

“If you recognise these men or have any information that assists our investigation, we ask you to contact the police.”
