Newburgh police searching for suspects after shooting near Main Street.

NEWBURGH, Ind. (WFIE) – Newburgh police are asking homeowners to check their security cameras after shots were fired early Monday morning.

Officers said they were called to the area near the intersection of Main Street and Jefferson Street around 5:15 a.m. to investigate.

According to a press release, the suspects left the scene before NPD and Warrick County Sheriff's officers could arrive.

Residents in this area are urged to check surveillance cameras for relevant footage.
