Twin Cities man guilty of murder for fatally stabbing another dorm resident nearly two dozen times

The employee told an emergency dispatcher that she had not heard anything else from the room and said, “Something is wrong.”

A police officer arrived and saw Adams running shirtless from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses across the street into the dorm. In a garbage can at the Kingdom Hall, police found a “badly bent” and bloody kitchen knife in a garbage bag. In another bag was a pair of blood-soaked gloves.

The officers found Rahn in his room with stab wounds to his neck and back. The paramedics declared him dead at the scene.

Adams gave police various explanations about how and why Rahn was stabbed.

The medical examiner found stab wounds on Rahn's face, neck, upper body and other areas. He also suffered at least 20 stab wounds on one of his hands that were “consistent with defensive injuries,” the complaint states.
