These three romantic and dramatic comedies are perfect for snuggling up on the couch on rainy autumn days.

Every year, many people enjoy their favorite Christmas films in December, such as “The Holiday,” “Love Actually” and “Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella.” After all, this way you can get into the Christmas spirit on snowy winter days without having to trudge through the Christmas market in the freezing cold. But you can also get in the mood for a golden autumn in September with cult classics such as “When Harry Met Sally” and “Dead Poets Society.”

“Little Women” is based on the autobiographical novel of the same name. Young adult novel by the American writer Louisa May Alcott from 1868. The novel tells the story of four sisters Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth, who grow up to be young women during the American Civil War.

The heartwarming story shows how each of the sisters tries to go their own way despite their main gender roles and has been made into a film several times – most recently in 2019 by Greta Gerwig. Film adaptation of a classic: “Pride and Prejudice”

The 2005 British-French film drama Pride and Prejudice is a film adaptation of the classic novel of the same name by Jane Austen (1813). It tells a unique love story between the clever and proud Elizabeth Bennet, one of five daughters, and the wealthy, slightly arrogant Mr. Darcy. After initially not being able to get along very well with each other, they eventually develop feelings for each other. Magnificent dresses and an idyllic southern English country estate give the film a wonderfully romantic atmosphere.

Tim learns from his father that the men in his family, and thus himself, have the ability to travel in time. He decides to take a trip into his past to change history and win back an ex-girlfriend. But he soon realizes to what extent changes in his life also affect the lives of others at the same time. The beautiful love story is set both in rainy London and in a beautiful, old house on the coast of Cornwall. The cast of the romantic comedy includes Rachel McAdams, Domhnall Gleeson, Bill Nighy, Margot Robbie and Vanessa Kirby.
