Orchards man arrested after confessing to stabbing his sister, Clark County Sheriff's Office says

An Orchards man was arrested after he confessed to stabbing his sister to death, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Dwayne Robinson, 34, is accused of first-degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Diane Robinson, the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The two lived together in the Clark County community, officials said.

Officers arrived at the scene around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a call from a man who said he went to the Robinsons' home after not hearing from Diane Robinson for several days. When the man arrived home, Dwayne Robinson told him he had stabbed his sister, sheriff's officials reported.

Sheriff's officers arrived and searched the home, where they arrested Dwayne Robinson after finding a dead woman inside.

The Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating while authorities officially confirm the dead woman's identity.
