Two injured and immense property damage

There was a crash at an intersection in Ramersdorf on Tuesday. Several vehicles were involved in the accident. There were two fatalities.

The police reported the accident on Tuesday at around 10:25 a.m. in Ramersdorf. A 25-year-old resident of the Starnberg district was driving a BMW on Rosenheimer Strasse out of town. He then wanted to turn towards Melusinenstrasse.

Accident involving four vehicles in Ramersdorf

At the same time, a 60-year-old man in an Audi and a 57-year-old man in a BMW were driving towards the city on Rosenheimer Strasse. Both the 60-year-old driver and the 57-year-old wanted to cross Karl-Preis-Platz with their cars in a straight line. The 25-year-old turned left in his car. The three vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection. In addition, the 25-year-old's car was pushed into a bus that was waiting at the intersection of Rosenheimer Strasse and Karl-Preis-Platz due to traffic.

Two injured and over one hundred thousand euros in damage

The 57-year-old and the 60-year-old were injured in the accident and taken to hospital by the emergency services. All of the vehicles involved were partially seriously damaged. Material damage amounted to over one hundred thousand euros. While the accident was being recorded, there were significant traffic disruptions. At the time of the accident, the traffic lights at the intersection of Karl-Preis-Platz and Rosenheimer Strasse were out of order. Traffic control was therefore provided by traffic signs. The further investigations are being led by the Munich traffic police.
