“George, the brother, told me a very painful story about Simon. Do you know that Simon cannot sit down? His back is just bones.

Mercy Nungari says they noticed Simon was in very poor condition when they stopped to change his diaper.

They had to temporarily interrupt their journey to see if the boy would regain his strength, but it was all in vain.

“The worst moment was when we stopped somewhere to put his diaper on. When we saw Ngai, I screamed and was not in this world,” she said.

“Did you know that Waiganjo did not continue? We stopped to see if he was recovering his strength. Guess what, he did not continue. Kinyanya took over and drove to Nairobi at zero speed,” she said.

The well-wishers also gave baby Simon yogurt, which made him happy and prompted him to talk to them.

She mentioned that Simon is currently receiving milk and water and is waiting for treatment to begin.
