Arrest in connection with shooting in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KKTV) – Colorado Springs police said Wednesday they arrested a man in connection with an Aug. 30 shooting.

On August 30, police were called to a shooting in the 200 block of Bijou Court, east of Acacia Park, where a man was found with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

According to CSPD, the suspect fled the scene in a dark van.

On Wednesday, CSPD said investigators from the Assault Unit and Armed Violent Offender Unit arrested James Patterson, 27. He was booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on charges of first-degree assault and aggravated menacing.
