What is the story

In a shocking incident, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's father Salim Khan was allegedly threatened by a woman during his morning walk.

The woman, clad in a burka, reportedly admonished the 88-year-old veteran screenwriter to “behave properly” and mentioned the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Notably, Bishnoi had previously threatened to kill Salman.

A case was registered at the Bandra police station in Mumbai.

Woman warned Salim during his morning walk

The woman's identity and whereabouts remain unknown, but she reportedly arrived with a man on a scooter.

The incident occurred just hours after Salman was seen leaving the city.

The woman is said to have warned Salim to “behave properly” or she would call for Bishnoi, who had previously threatened Salman with death.

The police are trying to catch the perpetrators

Per Midday, A case was registered under sections 353(2), 292 and 3(5) BNS.

“Police are currently analyzing CCTV footage from the area in the hope of identifying the suspects. The investigation is ongoing and we are determined to find those responsible,” a police officer said.

The Bishnoi gang allegedly attacked Salman's house in April

In April, shots were fired outside Salman's Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra district.

Bishnoi's brother Anmol claimed responsibility for the shooting in a Facebook post.

Following the incident, security was tightened for Salman and his family.

Salman also spoke about the alleged threats from the Bishnoi gang in his statement before the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch.

“Heard a bang-like noise,” Salman said of the shooting

Salman had said, “I heard a bang-like sound. Then, at around 4:55 am, the police bodyguard told that two persons on a motorcycle fired a gun at the first floor balcony of Galaxy Apartments.”

He added: “There had been attempts to harm me and my family before that too. I learned on social media that Lawrence Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for the attack.”
