Two dead in motorcycle accident in Dang

Early Thursday morning, two people died in a motorcycle accident in District 6 of Lamahi Municipality along the Lamahi-Ghorahi road.

According to police, the motorcycle overturned on the way from Lamahi to Ghorahi, resulting in deaths.

The dead were identified as 22-year-old Shrawan Kumar Pun of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-18, who was riding a motorcycle, and 21-year-old Vinod KC of Ghorahi-4, who was riding pillion.

Both victims were taken to Lamahi Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ram Prasad Timilsina, spokesman for the Dang District Police Office, said an investigation into the accident was underway.
