The Digital Services Act came into force in Germany on May 14, 2024. It gives platform operators more responsibility and requires them to publish transparency reports on their moderation actions and user reports at certain intervals.

We have compiled the following data to the best of our knowledge and belief:

Webedia is also actively involved in the initiative of the Bavarian State Office for New Media. Hate comments have no place with us and will be prosecuted if necessary.

What are Trusted Flaggers? Trusted flaggers are entities or organisations accredited by the Digital Services Coordinator (DSC) that are experts in specific types of illegal online content. Their reports must be given priority treatment by us.
