Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – September 18, 2024) – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX: BU) (OTCQB: BRCNF) (the “Burcon” or the “Company”), a global technology leader in the development of plant-based proteins for food and beverages, is pleased to announce the results of its 2024 Annual General Meeting and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the “Meet“) was held on September 18, 2024. All eight nominees named in Burcon's proxy management circular dated August 1, 2024 and proposed by management for election to the Board at the meeting were elected to the Board. Each elected director will serve until the conclusion of Burcon's next annual meeting of stockholders or until his or her successor is elected or appointed, unless his or her office is sooner vacated in accordance with Burcon's bylaws or applicable law.
