Stephen Dienes charged with sexual abuse of a teenager

A 52-year-old man is facing sexual assault charges in connection with the assault of a teenager.

According to police, 52-year-old Stephen Frank Dienes befriended a 16-year-old boy through social media in May 2022 and abused him in his home later that year.

The attack was only reported to police earlier this month.

Dienes was charged with sexual assault, false imprisonment and sexual exploitation.

His court date is scheduled for October 22nd.
