Sterling High School stabbing: Campus locked down after student stabbed during school brawl; suspect arrested, Houston ISD says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A Sterling High School student is in the hospital after being stabbed during a fight on campus Wednesday morning, the school said.

Houston ISD confirmed the incident and said the school is currently on lockdown.

The district said the stabbing occurred after a fight at the school.

The suspect was reportedly arrested.

According to HISD, the stabbing victim was taken to the hospital and is conscious.

It is unclear what the fight was about.
