Garcia allegedly sexually abused the person before and became violent when the person refused sex, so the person was afraid of what Garcia would do if they resisted, the complaint states.

The person texted someone asking for help. They told police officers that Garcia was drunk after drinking gin all night.

Garcia told police he was “totally drunk.” He said he remembered going to sleep in his bedroom and waking up to police officers standing in his house.

Garcia was charged with second-degree aggravated assault on Monday. A Fairbanks judge set Garcia's bail at $25,000.
